Seonyudo
Okdol Beach
Okdol Beach, located in Tonggye Village in Seonyudo 1-gu, is filled with soft gem stones instead of sand and pebbles. Oddly-shaped rocks and strange-shaped stones as well as gem stones form a beautiful landscape around the beach.

Beach Deck Promenade
Beach Deck Promenade reveals itself after you enter into the Seonyu 1-gu village and pass by the Marine Police Substation. A beautiful landscape made by columnar joints, oddly-shaped rocks and strange-shaped stones reveals itself.

Mangju Peak
Mountain located at Seonyudo-ri, Okdo-myeon, Gunsan City. Derived from a fable that classical scholar who was sent in exile to the island went up Mangju Peak, longing for the King in Hanyang. Mangju Peak, comprised of 2 rock mountains, stands at 152m above sea level. Visitors at the summit can enjoy the beautiful sea of Gunsan and several islands.

Seonyudo Beach
Seonyudo Beach, one of the Eight Scenic Views of Seonyu, is also called 'Myeongsasimni Beach'. You would be able to enjoy a beautiful view thanks to the fine and transparent sand particles. Visitors can also enjoy themselves in the water safely as the water is not deep.

Daejang Island
Jangja Halmaebawi (Grandma Rock)
Grandma rock of Jangja Island that is said to have the power to make love come true. Back in Joseon Dynasty, a husband left to take the Royal Examinations and when returned to his hometown after he passed the test, the wife cooked a meal with care and presented it in front of him. However, after realizing that he had brought a concubine, she was so devastated that she turned into a rock on the spot. Based on such a story, many lovers promise that they will not change forever and Halmae Rock is said to make their wish come true.
