“Excellent Organization Certification for Fair Recruitment”

for Fifth Consecutive Year

- The First Public Institution under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to Receive Outstanding Evaluations in Fair Employment Practices

for Five Consecutive Years -

□ On the 7th, Saemangeum Development Corporation (hereinafter “the Corporation”) proudly announced that it has been accredited with the “Excellent Organization Certification for Fair Recruitment” by the Korea Management Registrar (KMR) for the fifth consecutive year, becoming the first public institution under the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport to achieve this recognition.

□ The Excellent Organization Certification System for Fair Recruitment, established by the KMR, assesses and certifies public institutions or companies that exemplify fair hiring practices, eliminating biased factors in the recruitment process and emphasizing competency-based hiring.

  ○ The assessment criteria are divided into the following factors: Recruitment System, Recruitment Operations, and Recruitment Performance. The Corporation has received commendable assessments in all these areas in the current evaluation, earning the “Excellent Organization for Fair Recruitment” designation for five consecutive years.

  ○ In pursuit of equitable and transparent recruitment practices, the Corporation has implemented an NCS-based blind hiring system every year, ensuring a fair selection process centered around job competencies.
